SUPER FEATURES: Cute story. Funny moments.
Tito and Me, may take advantage of kid's films, in that it takes the story of a kid, and adds the stuff that gets kids
excited about something. And Zoran, is growing, and becoming a part of a boy-scout like troupe, whose great
accomplishment is going to be a trip to meet the famous leader of the country. And the child is already having some
notions about this leader and claims to see him all the time.
But all is not well. The mis-adventures, in the troupe seem to be caused by the bits and pieces that kids have to do,
when they are in these things. The frustrated teacher, is going nuts, and feels he is losing control of the kids, in
the process, but it does not deter from their very goal.
While this film avoids political anythings, it does suggest that behind the mask, the teacher is working for some
underground group or other, and even hints once that he has alterior motives in meeting the famous leader.
Unffortunately for him, the whole trip is becoming a lot more difficult for him than he expected, or foresaw, and he
ends up losing his marbles. But the kids all have fun, even if Zoran is now bored, and finds his meeting with the
leader terribly anti climatic. At least the food is good. Typical kid. Not quite a typical film, but it has its
moments, and it picks up. One wonder where this is leading to.
Nice film, nothing fancy, with some funny bits here and there. The kid is the exception in the group, and they come
around to his point of view.
